- Remove fragments of the retaining clip (1) from the centering hole (arrow) in the air spring (41).
- Remove fragments of the retaining clip (1) from the pin (2).
- Tap a new retaining clip (1) far enough onto the pin (2) using a plastic mallet until the retaining clip (1) lies flat on the frame floor.
