| 1 | Move the front passenger seat into the rearmost position | ||
| 2 | Fold back floor covering (1) in front passenger footwell | ||
| 3 | Unscrew plastic nuts (3) and fold step plate (4) to rear | ||
| 4 | Push locking slide of the two couplings (6) on the AIRmatic control unit (N51/3) in the direction of the arrow as far as the stop and detach electrical connections | ||
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connector (5) | ||
| 6 | Remove bolts (2) | ||
| 7 | Remove AIRmatic control unit (N51/3) | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 9 | Perform control unit adaptations using STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out fault memory and erase if necessary | When replacing AIRmatic control unit (N51/3). | AD00.00-P-2000-04A |
