Clamping rear spring - AR32.20-P-0200-06EW

Use only approved tensioning devices; shield off hazard area if necessary.
Inspect special tools for damage and proper operation (visual inspection).
Wear protective gloves.

When inserting the rear spring (44) ensure that the metal plate (7) and rubber ring (8) are correctly seated.

Insert upper clamping plate (01) and lower clamping plate ( 02) in the rear spring (44).
Insert clamping plates (01, 02) so that as many spring coils as possible are pre-compressed.
Insert tensioning device (03) from below through the spring control arm (6) into the clamping plates (01, 02) and latch into the recesses (4) of the upper lamping plate (01).
Tension rear spring (44).
Do not use any impact wrench/driver, otherwise the tensioning device (03) will be damaged.
Mark position of clamping plates (01, 02) relative to the rear spring (44) with oil-based chalk.
Relieve the load on rear spring (44).
When replacing, transfer the markings to the new rear spring (44).
