  Polishing
1 Wash the vehicle
2 Grind damaged areas using fine-grained abrasive paper IMPORTANT The grain size must be at least 2500, a grain size between 3000 and 5000 is better.
3 Place polishing sponge exactly in the center on the backup pad IMPORTANT Before commencing the first polishing operation, slightly spray the polishing sponge using deionized water.
IMPORTANT Use a commercially available polishing machine.

4 Apply a little polish to the paint or the polishing sponge IMPORTANT Shake bottle well before use.
Paint application/care

5 Polish the surfaces designated for treating NOTES Operate the polishing machine evenly. Otherwise visible irregularities are formed in the paint surface.
IMPORTANT Polish at the rotational lowest speed, approx. 800 RPM (1st stage), for 10 s at moderate pressure in cross-coat action at the damaged area. Then increase rotational speed: 1300 RPM (3rd stage) to 1600 RPM (4th stage).
Do not exceed a polishing time of 30 s at any one sanding spot.
IMPORTANT On larger areas, make sure that one partial area (approx. 1/4 m2 ) is always polished out at a time. Because the polish is ground while polishing, at the start a more abrasive effect is observed and the intensive gloss only appears at the end.
IMPORTANT Use a commercially available polishing machine.
Paint application/care

6 Remove any polish residue IMPORTANT Spray on deionized water and then wipe with a microfiber cloth.
IMPORTANT Use a commercially available tack rag.
