Wrap felt tape around branch-off line of center instrument panel speaker (a) of InCar Internet adapter wiring harness (3) and strap down.
The branch-off line for the center instrument panel speaker (a) is not required.

Connect black 44-pin plug (6) of InCar Internet adapter wiring harness (3) to black 44-pin connector (7) of vehicle wiring harness.
Remove black, 2-pin connector for optical fiber (11) from black, 44-pin connector (7), and install in black, 44-pin connector (4).
Only for vehicles with one of the following codes:
- Code (518) Media interface
- Code (537) Digital radio
- Code (810) Sound system
- Code (863) Digital/analog TV tuner
Route InCar Internet adapter wiring harness (3) at bottom left in installation opening.

The black 44-pin connector (4) will be connected at a later stage to the COMAND controller unit. The InCar Internet adapter wiring harness (3) obstructs the installation of the COMAND controller unit because of its size.

The COMAND controller unit can only be installed if the InCar Internet adapter wiring harness (3) is located as low as possible in the rear area of the automatic air conditioning control and operating unit.
Route black, 32-pin connector (5) of InCar Internet adapter wiring harness (3) into the front passenger footwell.
The black, 32-pin connector (5) will be connected to the InCar Internet control unit at a later stage.
