Location

The stationary heater control unit is integrated in the heater unit, which is located in the front section of the right wheel arch.

Task

The stationary heater control unit has the following tasks:

Reading in of signals

The input factors are read in via the following connections:

Direct line

The signals from the following components are read via direct lines:

IMPORTANT If the temperature of T = 125 °C is exceeded in the heater unit, the stationary heater thermal fuse recognizes overheating via the stationary heater temperature sensor and switches the stationary heater off with subsequent overheating locking.

Interior CAN

The signals are read in by the stationary heater control unit via interior CAN. The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions.

Evaluation of input factors

The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.

Actuation of components

Components are actuated with the following lines:

Direct line

The following components are actuated via direct lines:

Interior CAN

The signals are sent over the interior CAN. The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions.
