Special vehicle multifunction control unit (SVMCU (MSS)), component description - GF54.21-P-4010FL
MODEL 212 with CODE 965 (Electrical preinstallation, rental vehicles) without CODE Z17 (Heated windscreen) without CODE Z22 (Panic alarm system)
Shown on model 212.0
Location
The special-purpose vehicle multifunction control unit is in the luggage compartment in front of the spare wheel well.
Task
The special-purpose vehicle multifunction control unit has the following tasks:
- Reading in of sensors and signals
- Evaluation of input factors
- Actuation of components
Reading in of sensors and signals
The input factors are read in via the following connections:
- Direct line
- Interior CAN (CAN B)
- Multifunction CAN (CAN K)
Direct line
The signals from the following components are read via direct lines:
- Card reader and printer (A50/2) (accessories)
- Taxi emergency alarm system "Cancel" button (S62/5) (with CODE 934 (Taxi emergency alarm system))
- Taxi emergency alarm system "Trigger" button (S62/6) (with CODE 934 (Taxi emergency alarm system))
- Two-way radio cut-in switch (S93/2) (with CODE 938 (Preinstallation for hands-free two-way radio))
Interior CAN
The signals are read in by the special-purpose vehicle multifunction control unit via the interior CAN. The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions (see block diagram or function schematic).
Multifunction CAN
The signals are read in by the special-purpose vehicle multifunction control unit via the multifunction CAN. The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions (see block diagram or function schematic).
Evaluation of input factors
The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.
Actuation of components
The actuation of the components takes place via the following connections:
- Direct line
- Interior CAN
- Multifunction CAN
Direct line
The following components are actuated via direct lines:
- Roof sign lamp (E14/4) (with CODE 342 (Roof sign connection for taxi))
- Taximeter (A50) (with CODE 336 (Preinstallation for taximeter installation))
Interior CAN
The signals are sent by the special-purpose vehicle multifunction control unit via the interior CAN. The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions (see block diagram or function schematic).
Multifunction CAN
The signals are sent by the special-purpose vehicle multifunction control unit via the multifunction CAN. The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions (see block diagram or function schematic).
