Remove contacts from Multi Contact Point (MCP) coupling - AR00.19-P-0120-09A

Unfasten secondary release on version with lock tab
- Using a suitable tool, lift locking shackles (1) in direction shown by arrow.
Unfasten secondary release on version with coupling cap (shown on micro quadlock system with Multi Contact Point coupling)
- Using a suitable tool (1), pry up lock tab (2) for coupling cap (4).
- Pull clutch housing (3) from coupling cap (4) in direction shown by arrow.
Unfasten secondary release on version with retaining cage (shown on micro quadlock system with Multi Contact Point coupling)
- Using a suitable tool (1), slide retaining cage (2) into pre-locking position in direction shown by arrow.

Unpin female contacts from coupling
- Insert blade holder with
clamping pliers with
MCP 2.8/Fl. 2.8 blade or
MCP 2.8/Fl. 2.8/JPT/SPT blade from the front through the openings in contact cavity of coupling (1).
This step compresses the spring shackles (2) on the female contact.
- A slight tug on the corresponding cable will remove the female contact (1) from the coupling.
