Remove black, 18-pin plug insert (4.1) from white connector housing (4.2) of instrument cluster wiring harness (4).
Install black, 18-pin plug insert (15) of head-up display wiring harness (2) into white connector housing (4.2).

Install black 18-pin plug insert (4.1) of instrument cluster wiring harness (4) in the black connector housing (17) (arrow).
The black connector housing (17) is part of the package contents.
Connect black, 18-pin plug (4.1) of instrument cluster wiring harness (4) to black, 18-pin connector (2.1) of Y-connection for head-up display wiring harness (2).
Guide head-up display wiring harness into the instrument panel through the opening created earlier.
Insert white, 18-pin plug of head-up display wiring harness into instrument cluster.
