	Remove/install
	Notes on avoiding damage through contamination and foreign objects		AH00.00-P-5000-01A
1	Switch off ignition
2	Open engine hood		AR88.40-P-1000EW
3	Remove front engine cover and right engine intake air duct	See "Remove/install air filter housing".	AR09.10-P-1150EWS
4	Detach air intake hose (1a) from electric air pump (M33) and place to the rear
5	Unlock and disconnect electrical connector on switchover valve (3) of air shutoff valves (2)
6	Detach compressed air hose (1c) from right air shutoff valve (2)
7	Detach air hoses (1b) from air shutoff valves (2)
8	Unlock and disconnect electrical connector (4) of electric air pump (M33)
9	Remove bolt (5a) from bracket (5)		*BA14.30-P-1001-01D
10	Remove bolts (6) of bracket (7) of electric air pump (M33)		*BA14.30-P-1002-01D
11	Remove bolts (8) and remove electric air pump (M33)		*BA14.30-P-1003-01D
12	Detach air hoses (1b) from electric air pump (M33)
	Checking
13	Check rubber mount bushings of electric air pump (M33) in bracket (7)	Check for damage, replace if necessary.
14	Check air intake hose (1a), air hoses (1b) and compressed air hose (1c)	Check for damage, replace if necessary.
15	Install in the reverse order
16	Read out fault memory with STAR DIAGNOSIS
