Remove/install pelvis airbag - AR91.60-P-0300ES

DANGER Risk of injury  caused by performing testing or repair work on airbag or emergency tensioning retractor units. Store airbag units with deployment side facing up; do not expose to temperatures greater than 100 °C. When working on these units, disconnect the power supply. AS91.00-Z-0001-01A

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove cover (1) MODEL 204.0/2/9
with CODE 291 (PELVIS AIRBAG (PELVISBAG)) Outer cover

MODEL 204.3, 207
with CODE 291 (PELVIS AIRBAG (PELVISBAG)) Outer cover

MODEL 212.0/2, 218

2 Unclip cover (10)    
3 Remove screws/bolts (11) at pelvis airbag (13)    
4 Unplug electrical connector (12)    
5 Disconnect electrical connector (R12/41) for squib on driver pelvis bag or (R12/42) squib on front passenger pelvis bag    
6 Remove pelvis airbag (13) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Correctly insert retaining tabs (arrows).
IMPORTANT If the pelvis airbag (13) is replaced, the defective pelvis airbag (13) must be disposed of properly.
 
7 Install in the reverse order
