Remove/install tilting rear seat - AR91.12-P-1720CW

MODIFICATION NOTES

5.6.09 Value changed: Screw/bolt at rear seat belt buckle   *BA91.40-P-1015-01Q 
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove left or right side bolster Model 204.0, 212 AR91.12-P-1710CW 
Model 204.2/9 AR91.12-P-1710CX
2 Lift upholstery strip (4), unclip wire hoop from bracket (arrows A) and remove upholstery strip (4)    
3 Unscrew screw (6) and remove seat belt buckle (5) from belt end fitting (8) When removing the left rear backrest (3).
IMPORTANT Do not disconnect left rear seat belt buckle switch electrical connector (S68/5x1).

TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 212 *BA91.40-P-1015-01Q 
4 Unscrew bolt (9) from center pivot bearing (10)    
5 Swivel bearing bracket (11) approx. 180° upwards    
6 Unlock left rear backrest (3) or right rear backrest (2) and fold forward    
7 Remove screws/bolts (12) at outer pivot bearing TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA91.12-P-1006-03I 
8 Expose and disconnect seat heater electrical connector in area of outer pivot bearing Model 212 with code (872) Electric seat heater for left and right rear seat  
9 Expose and disconnect head restraint gravity lowering electrical connector in area of outer pivot bearing Model 212  
10 Lift left rear backrest (3) or right rear backrest (2) and disconnect electrical connector (13) at left rear backrest inclination switch (S54/5) or right rear backrest inclination switch (S54/6) Model 204.0, 212  
11 Pull outer seat belt to one side and remove left rear backrest (3) or right rear backrest (2) from the vehicle NOTES Remove left rear backrest (3) or right rear backrest (2) out of the vehicle carefully, otherwise the rear door and the entrance area could be damaged.  
12 Install in the reverse order
