Remove corrosion from crankshaft - AR03.20-P-1000-01A

REPAIR MATERIALS

BR00.45-Z-1028-04A Assembly cleaner Adolf Wurth GmbH & Co. KG
  1. Clean torque converter mount (3) in the crankshaft (1) with brake cleaner.
  2. Free up torque converter mount (3) in the crankshaft (1) from fretting rust (2) using micro-finishing band (grain size: 180).

    IMPORTANT The torque converter mount (3) must be completely stainless.

  3. Clean torque converter mount (3) again in crankshaft (1) with brake cleaner and clean if necessary with compressed air.
  4. Grease bearing mandrel on torque converter before assembling with multi-purpose paste.
