The following special tool is used:
dial indicator holder (02),
dial indicator (01)
- Mount dial indicator holder (02) on crankcase.
- Insert dial indicator (01) in dial indicator holder (02) and set a pretension of at least 3 mm.
The measuring tip of the dial indicator (01) must be aligned in a right angle to the crankshaft flange.
- Press on crankshaft (1) in an axial direction to one side up to the attachment and hold.
- Set dial indicator scale to zero.
- Press on crankshaft (1) in an opposite axial direction to one side up to the attachment and hold.
- Read off measurement value on dial indicator (01) scale and compare with specified value.
