- Turn engine at crankshaft in direction of engine rotation to a 40° crank angle after ignition TDC.
The 40° marking on the belt pulley must be aligned with the positioning edge on the timing case cover.
- Fix camshaft with straightedge to the rear side. The retaining device must allow itself to pushed over the camshaft afterwards.
