Remove/install freewheeling device - AR00.60-P-1500A

REMOVING Remove     
1 Secure vehicle against starting off and rolling away by itself    
2 Detach respective wheel (3)

4 Mount freewheeling device (2) to wheel hub (1) NOTES Before mounting the SPECIAL TOOL freewheel (2) it must be ensured that the vehicle is at a ready to drive level.
Otherwise the body may be damaged.

Model 207, 212, 216, 218, 221 with 4MATIC: In addition to the SPECIAL TOOL freewheel (2), the front wheels also have to be raised when maneuvering. Use vehicle floor jack or other maneuvering aid.
Otherwise the body may be damaged.
NOTES
With a mounted SPECIAL TOOL freewheel (2) the vehicle may only be maneuvered by hand (at max. 5 km/h or 3 mph).
Driving or towing the vehicle is not permitted.
NOTES
When mounting on the steered axle, avoid any steering locks, which could lead to contact with the body.
Otherwise the body will be damaged.
