Tape up surfaces zones on window cutout on front edge of roof and left and right A-pillars with adhesive tape (2).
Remove seal strip from windshield (1) at top to front edge of roof with suitable tool.
Cut adhesive bead and support bead at windshield (1) (area B).

Cut adhesive bead on windshield (1) in relation to A- pillars and roof edge (area A).

Place rag (4) between windshield (1) and engine hood.
Position cup suction tool (3) in upper third of windshield (1) and lift windshield (1) away from body flange.
Helper required to guide windshield (1). Otherwise the windshield (1) or the adjacent body parts can be damaged.

Detach windshield (1) from body flange in upper area first, then pry out upward.
