Retrofit front mud guards - AZ88.30-P-0003-03EW

MODEL 212.0 (except 212.074/077/092), 212.1, 212.2 (except 212.274/277/292) without CODE 772 (AMG styling package - front spoiler, side skirts and rear apron) without CODE 950 (AMG sport package)

IMPORTANT Work procedure shown on left side of vehicle.

  1. Clean front fender in crosshatched area with specified cleaning agent.

    IMPORTANT Front fender must be dry, free of dust and grease in cross-hatched area.

  2. Remove expansion rivets (6) from fender liner.

    IMPORTANT Expansion rivets (6) are reused.

  4. Remove protective foil on adhesive strips on front mud guards (1) at corners, as shown in figure and position so that ends of protective foil extend beyond outer edge of front mud guards (1).

    IMPORTANT Do not remove protective foil on adhesive strips completely

  5. Position front mud guard (1) on front fender as per picture.
  6. Install expansion rivets (6) in fender liner.
  7. Screw in self-tapping sheet metal screw (7).
  8. Install retaining clips (5).

    NOTES Ensure that the retaining clip (5) is installed so that the barbs (5.1) can reach into the front mud guard (1). If this is not observed, the paint on the fender can be damaged and corrosion can occur.

  10. Screw in tapping sheet metal screw (7) from bottom.
  11. Remove entire protective foil from adhesive strips on front mud guard (1) and uniformly press front mud guard (1) in area of adhesive strips against front fender.
  12. Protect inner front fender edge against corrosion in area of clips on front mud guard (1) with preservation agent.
