Replace fuel injector sealing ring - AR07.03-P-0004-01MM

Fuel injectors (Y76) must be installed immediately after calibration of the sealing rings (1).

Since sealing rings (1) swell under the influence of air humidity, they may otherwise be damaged during assembly.

Remove sealing ring (1)

Completely remove sealing ring (1) from fuel injector (Y76).
Do not use sharp-edged tools.

The sealing surfaces can be damaged otherwise.
Clean base surface for sealing ring (1) on fuel injector (Y76).
Install sealing ring (1)
Push sealing ring (1) onto guide hood (03) and place this on the injection nozzle (Y76).
Slowly push sealing ring (1) with the fingers over the guide hood (03) onto the injection nozzle (Y76) in the sealing groove.
Place assembly sleeve (04) on the fuel injector (Y76).
The side marked with "A" on the assembly sleeve (04) must point towards to fuel injector (Y76).
Push assembly sleeve (04) completely while turning slightly onto the fuel injector (Y76).
