Mount high-pressure lines - AR07.03-P-1010-02MMA

INJECTORS, INJECTION VALVES, LINES

NOTES The union nuts for the low-pressure line (1a) and the high-pressure line (1b) may only be tightened with torque after  installation of the low-pressure line (1a) and the high-pressure lines (1b) otherwise leakage will occur. Do not kink or bend low-pressure line (1a) and high-pressure line (1b).

  1. Mount low pressure line (1a) on high-pressure pump (2) and on the left cylinder head cover.
  2. Mount high-pressure line (1b) on rail (3l, 3r) and on high-pressure pump (2l).

    IMPORTANT Clamps (6) must be aligned before screwing on. Pay attention to correct routing of the low-pressure line (1a) and the high-pressure line (1b).

  3. Mount clamps (6) for the low-pressure line (1a) and the high-pressure lines (1b) on the bracket on the cylinder head covers.
  4. Tighten union nuts with torque.

    NOTES Observe tightening torques exactly otherwise leaks can occur.

  5. Mount plastic retaining clips (4) between the low-pressure line (1a) and high-pressure line (1d).
