The union nuts for the low-pressure line (1a) and the high-pressure line (1b) may only be tightened with torque after
installation of the low-pressure line (1a) and the high-pressure lines (1b) otherwise leakage will occur. Do not kink or bend low-pressure line (1a) and high-pressure line (1b).
- Mount low pressure line (1a) on high-pressure pump (2) and on the left cylinder head cover.
- Mount high-pressure line (1b) on rail (3l, 3r) and on high-pressure pump (2l).
Clamps (6) must be aligned before screwing on. Pay attention to correct routing of the low-pressure line (1a) and the high-pressure line (1b).
- Mount clamps (6) for the low-pressure line (1a) and the high-pressure lines (1b) on the bracket on the cylinder head covers.
- Tighten union nuts with torque.
Observe tightening torques exactly otherwise leaks can occur.
- Mount plastic retaining clips (4) between the low-pressure line (1a) and high-pressure line (1d).
