Remove/install rear door window lifter - AR72.12-P-1810EG

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by hands or feet being pinched or crushed when working on windshield or windows Secure windows to prevent them from falling, use only the prescribed lifting tools, always wear safety shoes. AS67.00-Z-0003-01A
NOTES Notes on avoiding damage to windows installed in special high-security vehicles   AH67.00-P-0003-01FB
NOTES Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1 Completely open crank window (17).    
2 Remove rear door lining   AR72.12-P-1010CW 
3 Disconnect electrical connection on left rear door (X35/3) and electrical connector on right rear door (X35/4)    
4 Unclip grommets (2, 3)    
5 Pull door wiring harness (1) out of rear door    
6 Remove grommets (6, 7) from inner door panel (5)    
7 Remove bolts (4) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA72.12-P-1006-01O 
8 Remove inner door panel (5) from rear door, simultaneously guide inside door handle Bowden cable and locking pin Bowden cable through IMPORTANT Lay inner door panel (5) down to side with attached electrical wiring harness until nuts (15) are accessible.  
9 Unscrew bolt (8) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA72.12-P-1010-01O 
10 Remove guard plate (9)    
11 Remove adhesive tape (10) over connector (11) from inner door panel (12)    
12 Disconnect electrical connector (11)    
13 Cut cable tie (13) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Observe installation position, replace cable tie (13).  
14 Remove grommet (14) from inner door panel (12)    
15 Guide electrical wiring harness for left rear door power window motor (M10/5) or right rear door power window motor (M10/6) through inner door panel (12)    
16 Unscrew nuts (15)   *BA72.12-P-1007-01O 
17 Move crank window (17) completely upward INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Slide crank window (17) down until it is positioned in mounts on power window rail (16).  
18 Secure crank window (17) against falling down with clamping pliers SPECIAL TOOL
IMPORTANT Aid of helper required.

19 Unscrew bolts (18, 19) TORQUE SPECIFICATION
IMPORTANT When screwing out bolt (19), the spacer sleeve (21) between the inner door panel and door lock protective plate may loosen and fall down. When installing reposition spacer sleeve (21) correctly.

20 Remove protective plate (20) from rear door    
21 Unscrew nuts (22) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA72.12-P-1009-01O 
22 Remove bracket (23)    
23 Carefully remove power window (24) from rear door NOTES So that crank window (17) cannot be scratched.  
24 Install in the reverse order

BA72.12-P-1011-01O Bolt, protective plate for beltline to door Nm 25
