Remove/install door frame seal on rear door - AR72.12-P-1015CY

REMOVING Removing     
1 Wind crank window fully down    
2.1 Unclip covers (6) from door lining (11) Model 204  
2.2 Unclip cover (12) from door lining (11) from bottom to top with assembly wedge (9) Model 212  
SPECIAL TOOL Figure
3 Remove bolts (7)    
4 Unclip door lining (11) in area of door lock (8) from rear door (5) with assembly wedge (9) NOTES Move assembly wedge directly to mounting clips in door lining (11) and ensure that the retaining tabs on the retaining tabs on the door lining (9) do not tear out of the door lining (11).
IMPORTANT Unclip door lining (11) until the window frame paneling (10) is accessible.

5 Remove window frame paneling (10).    
6 Remove door frame seal (1) from rear door (5)    
7 Remove glue residues from rear door (5) using surface conditioning disk and clean bonding surface IMPORTANT Bonding surface must be free of grease and dust.
Removal disk, Ø 100 mm with fixing shank, 3M Deutschland GmbH D-41453 Neuss
Hand drill		  
    Cleaner *BR00.45-Z-1025-04A 
NOTES Notes on removing adhesive residues and foils on paint and metal surfaces with surface conditioning disks   AH00.00-P-0013-01AK
INSTALLING Install     
8 Loosen spacer strips (2) approx. 2 cm at one end of the new door frame seal (1).    
9 Glue on door frame seal (1) to rear door (5) starting at center of door bottom. IMPORTANT The spacer strips (2) on door frame seal (1) should make contact over the entire length with door paneling, without gap  
10 Cut off door frame seal protrusion (1) at bottom side of door and connect the two ends of the door frame seal (1). IMPORTANT Cut off protrusion so that there is no gap between the two ends of door frame seal (1). Do not cut off protection at end of door frame seal (1) where the insert (3) protrudes.  
11 Firmly roll on door frame seal (1) with roller (4). SPECIAL TOOL Figure
12 Completely remove spacer strips (2) from door frame seal (1) starting at detached end.    
13 Install window frame paneling (10).    
14 Clip door lining (11) from front door (5)    
15 Tighten bolts (7) on door lining (11)    
16 Clip in covers (6) Model 204  
17 Clip in cover (12) Model 212  
18 Close crank window
