	Removing
	Risk of injury caused by fingers being pinched or crushed when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, liftgates or sliding roof	Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Wind crank window fully down
2	Unclip mirror triangle paneling (2).	On model 204.0/2/9 with code (523) MB Audio 20 radio or with code (510) Audio 20 including CD changer or with code (525) MB Audio 50 APS radio or with code (511) Audio 50 APS incl. DVD changer or with code (527) COMAND APS with single DVD drive (with navigation) or with code (512) COMAND APS incl. DVD changer, allow mirror triangle paneling (2) to hang down with electrical line connected.. On model 212, allow mirror triangle paneling (2) to hang down with electrical line connected.
3	Remove window frame paneling (3).
4	Remove sealing frame (1) from front door (4) hen
5	Remove adhesive residues from front door (4) and clean gluing surface with removal disk	Bonding surface must be free of grease and dust. Removal disk, Ø 100 mm with fixing shank, 3M Deutschland GmbH D-41453 Neuss Hand drill

	Install
6	Loosen spacer strips (5) approx. 2 cm at one end of the new door frame seal (1).
7	Glue on door frame seal (1) to front door (4) starting at center of door bottom.	The spacer strips (5) on door frame seal (1) should make contact over the entire length with door paneling, without gap
8	Cut off door frame seal protrusion (1) at bottom side of door and connect the two ends of the door frame seal (1).	Cut off protrusion so that there is no gap between the two ends of door frame seal (1). Do not cut off protection at end of door frame seal (1) where the insert (7) protrudes.
9	Firmly roll on door frame seal (1) with roller (6).		Fig 2
10	Completely remove spacer strips (5) from door frame seal (1) starting at detached end.
11	Install window frame paneling (3).
12	Install mirror triangle paneling (2).
13	Close crank window
