Inspecting cylinders with a light probe - AR01.00-P-0200SXI

	Remove/install
1	Remove transmitter key	To prevent any inadvertent actuation of the starter.
2	Remove fuel injectors		AR07.16-P-1000SXI
3	Move piston in cylinder to be checked to bottom dead center (BDC)	Crank engine at crankshaft. Do not rotate engine backwards.

4	Inspect cylinders with a light probe	Connect light projector (1) and pass flexible endoscope (2) for the light projector (1) through the bore for the fuel injectors into the cylinder. Endoscope (cold light)
	Checking
5	Inspect cylinder walls	If there is wear to the cylinder, the cylinder wall has become rough and the honing marks are no longer visible. The cylinder head must be removed, see: ↓ Remove/install cylinder head

6	Install in the reverse order
	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
