Crank engine with starter - AR01.10-P-0110CW

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Move transmission into neutral position, switch off ignition and remove transmitter key IMPORTANT ENGINE 156, 271, 272, 642, 646, 651 in MODEL 204

Keep pressing the start-stop button till the ignition is switched off.		  
2 Remove cover from front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1)    
3 Remove circuit 50 relay, starter (N10/1kM)    
4 Plug electrical feed line (1) of compression recorder into slot 87 NOTES
Do not plug electrical feed line (1) into slot 87a.
A short circuit will occur otherwise.
IMPORTANT The slot allocations are also on the starter circuit 50 relay (N10/1kM).

5 Attach electrical feed line of compression recorder to circuit 30 terminal point (2) in engine compartment SPECIAL TOOL Compression tester Figure

DANGER Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A

7 Install in the reverse order
