	Remove/install
		For the following work attention must be paid to the utmost cleanliness at the workplace and while carrying out the repair otherwise the function of the rack-and-pinion steering (10) may be impaired.
1	Remove rack-and-pinion steering (10)	With hydraulic P/S	AR46.20-P-0600EW
2	Fit rack-and-pinion steering (10) in steering gear housing support		Figure
3	Remove bolt (2) and remove retaining plate (1)		*BA46.20-P-1003-01N
4	Remove bolt (4 or 6) and remove pipeline (3 or 5)	Replace pipeline (3 or 5) and replace bolt (4 or 6). New bolts (4 or 6) must be taken from the repair kit together with new copper seals and new pipelines. Do not bend new pipeline (3 or 5). First attach new pipeline (3 or 5) to steering gear housing and screw in bolts (2, 4 or 6) finger-tight, then tighten bolts (2, 4 or 6) with torque wrench.
4	Remove bolt (4 or 6) and remove pipeline (3 or 5)		*BA46.20-P-1007-01N
5	Install in the reverse order
