Remove/install camshaft Hall sensor - AR15.10-P-2000ELB

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by fingers being pinched or crushed  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, liftgates or sliding roof Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1 Open engine hood    
2.1 Remove front engine cover (1) When removing intake camshaft Hall sensors (B6/4, B6/5)  
2.2 Remove engine intake air duct upstream of air filter When removing exhaust camshaft Hall sensors (B6/6, B6/7)  
3 Remove purge line from cylinder head cover When removing the Hall sensor on the left of the exhaust camshaft (B6/6).  
4 Remove electrical connection from the respective camshaft Hall sensor (B6/4, B6/5, B6/6, B6/7)    
5 Remove bolt (3) and pull respective camshaft Hall sensor (B6/4, B6/5, B6/6, B6/7) out of the cylinder head cover INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace sealing ring.  
TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA15.10-P-1006-03E 
6 Install in the reverse order    
7 Read out fault memory with STAR DIAGNOSIS and erase if necessary   AD00.00-P-2000-04A
DANGER Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

8 Carry out engine test run, checking the engine for proper operation and leaks
