Remove/install electric vacuum pump - AR43.05-P-0001EHV

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition    
2 Push down brake pedal several times IMPORTANT In order to reduce the vacuum in the BAS brake booster.  
3 Open engine hood and raise to vertical position   AR88.40-P-1000EW
4 Remove front engine cover    
5 Release and disconnect vacuum line (1) at the vacuum pump (M56)    
6 Disconnect interior and engine wiring harness electrical connector (X26) from bracket (4) IMPORTANT The vacuum pump (M56) is available as a replacement part only complete with the bracket (4).  
7 Cut cable tie (3) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace cable tie (3).  
8 Release and disconnect electrical connector (2)    
9 Remove screw/bolts (5)    
10 Separate cable tie (8) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace cable tie (8).  
11 Unscrew bolt (7)    
12 Remove screws/bolts (6) and take out vacuum pump (M56) together with the bracket (4)    
13 Replace bracket for cable ties (3, 8) When replacing vacuum pump (M56).  
14 Install in the reverse order    
15 Reset running time of vacuum pump (M56) using Star Diagnosis When replacing vacuum pump (M56).
