- Grind mating surfaces on center roof paneling (1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.
Grind spot weld flange down to bare metal on both sides (areas I and J).
- Coat insides of spot welding flange with zinc dust paint (areas I and J).
Do not coat bonding surfaces with zinc dust paint to prevent adhesion problems (areas K and L).
