Install side roof paneling and weld in - AR65.10-P-1020-03WX
MODEL 117.9, 156, 176, 204.9, 212.2, 242, 246
The following operation steps are shown on MODEL 204.9.
- Apply 2-component adhesive in hatched area.
- Apply sealant to foam parts (arrows).
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces. Observe manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of adhesive.
- Install side roof paneling (1) and center roof paneling and fit with
spacers and
feeler gauge.
- Check and adjust gap dimensions.
- Fix side roof paneling (1) in place.
Remove spacers and center roof paneling.

The new resistance spot welds must be welded at exactly the same position as the resistance spot welds welded at the factory. Otherwise the minimum strength of the connections cannot be ensured.

Grind MIG welds down flat on side roof paneling (1) (areas A, B, C and D).

- Grind inert gas plug welds down flat on side roof paneling (1) (area E).
- Clean welds on side roof paneling (1).
- Solder surface on side roof paneling (1) in area of inert gas welds (cross-hatched areas) with body solder and smooth.
- Remove grinding and drilling chips with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
