Wear cotton gloves. Ensure that no fingerprints are present in the area of the bonding surface. To prevent adhesion problems when installing rear glass roof, keep bonding surfaces (1) free of dust, oil, grease, wax, dirt residues and other anti-adhesive components.
- Check rear glass roof (1) for damage.
- Install cup suction tool on outer side of rear glass roof (1) and lay rear glass roof (1) down to suitable subsurface with inside pointing upward. Cup suction tool/shackle (for removing and installing windows).
- Apply cleaner with part of paper towel to bonding surfaces on rear glass roof (1) and wipe with remaining paper towel.
Apply cleaner only to bonding surfaces. Allow cleaner to dry completely.
- Apply primer to bonding surfaces on rear glass roof (1) with applicator tips enclosed.
