Wear cotton gloves. Ensure that no fingerprints are present in the area of the glue bead (1). To prevent adhesion problems when installing the window, keep the bonding surface free of dust, oil, grease, wax, dirt residues and other adhesive substances.
- Cut down existing glue bead (1) on body flange to a height of approx. 1 to 2 mm.
Do not leave more than 2 mm of the existing glue bead (1). Remove glue residues from glue beads (1) not completely cut off. Wet/dry vacuum cleaner
- Repair paint damage on panoramic roof frame.
- Apply primer in gluing area if glue residues are not present
