Adjust tilting/sliding roof panel - AR77.20-P-1100CW

MODEL 204.0/2, 212, 218 with CODE 414 (Power glass tilting/sliding roof)

REMOVING Remove     
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1 Move tilting/sliding roof panel (1) into tilt position    
2 Completely open sliding roof lining (2)    
3 Remove left and right rubber bellows (3)    
  Adjust     
4 Close tilting/sliding roof panel (1)    
5 Loosen bolts (4) on left and right on tilting/sliding roof panel (1)    
6 Guide cardboard strips (5) from rear center into sealing joint IMPORTANT Cardboard strips (5) are approx. 500 m long an approx. 2 mm thick. The gap dimension should be approx. equal at the front and rear sealing joint. Align side gap dimensions in center.  
7 Adjust tilting/sliding roof panel (1) in relation to roof paneling IMPORTANT Observe measuring position (A) for height adjustment.  
Height setting *BE77.20-P-1001-01H 
8 Tighten bolts (4) on left and right on tilting/sliding roof panel (1) from rear toward front    
INSTALLING Install     
9 Move tilting/sliding roof panel (1) into tilt position    
10 Install left and right rubber bellows (3)    
11 Close tilting/sliding roof panel (1)    
12 Close sliding roof lining (2)    
13 Connect diagnostic system and perform teach-in run for anti-pinch protection of sliding roof
