The following operation steps describe installation in a left-hand drive vehicle. With right-hand drive vehicles, these operation steps must be carried out mirror-inverted.

Wrap felt tape around low voltage differential signal (LVDS) head unit wiring harness (15).
Wrap felt tape around display low voltage differential signaling wiring harness (16).

Route the LVDS wiring harness (17) installed in the vehicle from the installation frame of the audio component through the opening (arrow) into the front passenger footwell.
The LVDS wiring harness (17) connector was connected to the audio component.
Route the LVDS display wiring harness (16) through the opening (arrow) from the audio component installation frame into the front passenger footwell.
The sloping, bent connector (16.1) must be located in the installation frame of the audio component and the right-angled, bent connector (16.2) in the front passenger footwell.

Connect straight connector (15.1) of LVDS head unit wiring harness (15) with connector (17.1) of LVDS wiring harness (17) installed in vehicle.
The sloping, bent connector (15.2) will be connected to the Drive Kit Plus control unit at a later stage.
