Install illuminated door sill - AZ82.20-P-0001-01ES

Remove protective foils from adhesive strips (21) of door sill (9).
Do not touch bonding surfaces of adhesive strips (21) with fingers, otherwise the adhesive strength will be affected.

In the picture, the installation of the door sill (9) is shown on the right side. Installation on the left-hand side takes place in the same manner.
Clean longitudinal member in area of bonding surface for door sill (9).
The area to be glued must be free of dust and grease.
Align guide pins (arrows A) of door sill (9) through openings (arrows B) in longitudinal member and at the same time tentatively place ribbon cable (22) for door sill (9) in installation position.

Evenly lower door sill (9) until guide pins (arrows A) are fixed in place in openings (arrows B).
Completely lower door sill (9) and glue it on.
When installing the door sill (9), ensure that the ribbon cable (22) is not twisted or pinched.
Press door sill (9) onto longitudinal member using a clean cotton cloth, beginning at one side.
Lift floor covering (20) in area of longitudinal member and connect black connector housing (24) from wiring harness (12) with black coupling housing (23) of ribbon cable (22) from door sill (9).
Fix ribbon cable (22) and connector in place at inside of longitudinal member with adhesive strips.
