- Remove cover (1) from torque converter housing.
- Continue turning engine at center bolt of crankshaft in direction of engine rotation until the drain screw (2a) at the torque converter (2) is accessible. If the center bolt is not accessible.
↓
Continue turning engine using a wide screwdriver at the torque converter (2) until the drain screw (2a) is accessible.
- Position oil receptacle under torque converter (2).
Commercially available devices/tools
Oil receptacle
- Remove drain screw (2a) from torque converter (2) and drain automatic transmission fluid.
- Screw drain screw (2a) into torque converter (2)

- Install cover (1) in torque converter housing.
