Remove/install oil separator - AR01.20-P-9750CO

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
1 Remove engine cover    
2 Disconnect vacuum line on firewall MODEL 212  
3 Unclip electrical line (4) on bracket (5) Oil separator variants 2 and 3.  
4 Remove screws/bolts (3) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, oil separator/bleed valve to cylinder head cover *BA01.20-P-1005-01P 
5 Detach clamp at bracket MODEL 207, 212  
6 Unscrew bolts (6) for bracket (5) Oil separator variant 3.  
7 Remove bracket (5) Oil separator variants 2 and 3.  
8 Detach engine air intake duct downstream of air filter and detach hose (1) Oil separator variant 3.  
9.1 Remove oil separator (2) from cylinder head cover and detach from hose (1) Oil separator variant 1.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace sealing ring.		  
9.2 Remove oil separator (2) from cylinder head cover Oil separator variants 2 and 3.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace sealing ring.		  
10 Install in the reverse order    
INSPECT Check     
11 Check oil level MODEL 204 AR18.00-P-3035-01TI
    MODEL 207, 212, 218
NOTES
Vehicle must be horizontal and standing on its wheels.
Measurement errors will occur otherwise.
IMPORTANT Wait about 5 minutes after switching off the warm engine before inspecting oil level.		 AR18.00-P-3035-01SXI

12 Perform an engine test run and check engine for leaktightness
