Disposing of shock absorber - OS32.25-P-0121-01A

MODEL 129, 140, 170, 202, 208, 210 

DANGER Risk of injury  from drilling gas-filled units or components (gas fill is not inflammable) Wear safety glasses and safety mask AS00.00-Z-0006-01A
  1. Using a 5 mm dia. drill bit, drill out shock absorber tube at a distance of 20 mm (dimension A) from the bottom of the shock absorber.
  2. Push in piston rod up to stop and pull out.
  3. Using a 5 mm dia. drill bit, drill out shock absorber tube at a distance of 27 mm (dimension B) from the end of the shock absorber tube.
  4. Pump shock absorber until it is empty by pressing in the piston rod several times.

    IMPORTANT The quantity of oil is 250-500 cm3 cm3 depending on the version. Observe regulations for disposal of hydraulic oil!

  5. Dispose of shock absorber (old part).
