The camshaft bearing cap(s) are marked on Engine 612, 647 in the following way:

At the left-hand camshaft, beginning from the front, with E1 to E6 (E= inlet).

On the right camshaft beginning from the front with A1 to A6 (A = exhaust).

The camshaft bearing caps must be installed in the same position again.
