- The crankshaft bearing caps (1, 2, 3, 4) are machined together with the cylinder crankcase and must not be interchanged.
- The crankshaft bearing caps (1, 2, 3, 4) are fitted on the side in the cylinder crankcase and must be installed in the correct position.
- The crankshaft bearing caps (1, 2, 3, 4) are numbered consecutively beginning with the first crankshaft bearing cap (1) at the front.
- If the installation position is correct, the numbers on the crankshaft bearing caps (1, 2, 3, 4) can be read in the direction of travel (wide arrow).
