	Removing
1	Remove piston (1)		AR03.10-P-7021MCC
2	Remove plain compression ring (2 and taper-faced ring (3) from piston (1) using the pliers (5)	Pliers	Fig 4
3	Remove three-piece oil ring (4) by hand from piston (1)
4	Clean piston (1) and check for damage	Replace piston (1) if necessary.
5	Measure side clearance of the plain compression ring (2) and the taper-faced ring (3)	Replace plain compression ring (2), taper-faced ring (3) and oil scraper ring (4) together with the piston (1) if necessary.	AR03.10-P-7311-01MCC

6	Measure end gap of the plain compression ring (2) of the taper-faced ring (3) and the upper and lower rings of the oil scraper ring (4)	Also replace the plain compression ring (2), taper-faced ring (3) and oil scraper ring (4) set by set if necessary.	AR03.10-P-7311-02MCC

9	Attach three-piece oil ring (4) by hand to the piston (1)
10	Attach plain compression ring (2 and taper-faced ring (3) to piston (1) using the pliers (5)	Observe installation position The marking (arrow) on the plain compression ring (2) and the marking (arrow) on the taper-faced ring (3) must point towards the piston crown. First attach taper-faced ring (3) then plain compression ring (2). Pliers	Fig 4
