Notes on avoiding damage to windows installed in special high-security vehicles - AH67.00-P-0003-01PV

The insides of the windows of special protection vehicles are plastic-coated. The plastic coating is very sensitive to scratching in comparison to glass.

Observe the following notes to prevent damaging the plastic coating:

• Do not affix any adhesive labels.
• Avoid any contact with hard objects (ice scrapers, rings, watches, armbands, etc.).
• Do not use any deicing sprays.
• Do not clean dry.

When carrying out work: 

• Cover the inside of the panes and windows with a protective film.
• Cover sharp edges on doors and on the window frame.
• Always reinstall removed bolts at position they were removed.
• New bolts must always be exactly identical to the bolts installed previously.

When cleaning: 

• Use only water for cleaning, possibly adding a small amount of mild dish washing liquid or soap.
• Clean using only a chamois leather and minimal pressure.
