	Checking
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being pinched or crushed  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, liftgates or sliding roof	Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Check door hinges (1, 2) on left and right door (3) for noises	Open door (3) to stop several times. If noises can still be heard, lubricate all movable parts and hinge pivots on door hinges (1, 2) with multi-oil. Lubricate roller dents with brush and special lubricant. See ↓
		Lubricate hinges and locks of doors and flaps Only when the noises cannot be eliminated by lubricating the door hinges (1, 2), replace door hinges (1, 2).	AP72.00-P-7223MCC
	Removing
2	Remove maintenance flap
3	Remove left and right longitudinal member paneling		AR88.80-P-6000MCC
4	Partially loosen front CBS (4).		AR88.00-P-1010-04MCC
5	Unclip and remove cover (5)
6	Unclip cover (6) and lay down to side with electrical wiring harness integrated.
7	Unscrew bolts (7, 8) and remove upper door hinge (1).	The door (3) must be closed. Otherwise the lower door hinge (2) or and the door (3) can be damaged. Do not remove door hinge (1) and door hinge (2) simultaneously. Immediately replace removed door hinge (1) with new door hinge (1).

8	Unscrew bolts (9, 10) and remove lower door hinge (2).	The door (3) must be closed. Otherwise the upper door hinge (1) or and the door (3) can be damaged. Do not remove door hinge (1) and door hinge (2) simultaneously. Immediately replace removed door hinge (2) with new door hinge (2).

9	Check door gaps (3); adjust if necessary:		AR72.10-P-0550MCC
