MODEL ALL with CODE 550 (Trailer coupling)
The trailer hitch is a safety component. Therefore, the crossmember and stiffening beam (or the trailer bracket for cross-country vehicles), the attaching parts and the ball neck must not be bent again or mechanically reworked.
In the event of damage/deformation, e.g. through an accident the complete mechanical part including all attaching parts (A) must be replaced.
For trailer hitches with removable ball neck (B) this may only be replaced if it was mounted at the time of the accident.
