Remove/install console for batteries on floor - AR61.25-P-6611MEV

DANGER Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by paint vapors igniting. Risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling paint vapors. No smoking! No open fire! Use respiratory protection, protective clothing, gloves, safety glasses and protective skin cream. Ensure that the area is well ventilated. AS98.00-Z-0002-01A
DANGER IMPORTANT The high voltage used for electric welding presents a lethal hazard. Risk of explosion  from welding in areas close to highly inflammable materials. Risk of injury  from weld splatter and UV-light when welding. Risk of poisoning  from inhaling welding gases Use insulating mats. Wear protective clothing, safety glasses and a protective mask. Remove highly flammable materials from the hazard area. Use air extraction system. AS00.00-Z-0007-01A

REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove detachable parts in the repair area    
REFER TO SPECIAL TOOLS 000 588 03 62 00 Lifting platform IMPORTANT Generally conventional tools are required for body work, additional tools required are listed above. WS01.00-P-0091A
2 Cover all detachable parts remaining in vehicle (area to be repaired) NOTES Use reflection protection tarpaulin (fire-proof). Otherwise they can be damaged from flying sparks.  
3 Expose spot welds on damaged mounting console (1) and cut out (areas A and B)    
4 Remove damaged mounting console (1)    
5 Level separated spot welds and grind mating surfaces down to bare metal    
6 Drill holes for plug welding on new mounting console (2) (areas C and D)    
7 Grind mating surfaces on new mounting console (2) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas    
8 Remove grinding and drill shavings with wet/dry vacuum cleaner    
INSTALLING Install     
DANGER Risk of death  when touching components on vehicles with high-voltage on-board electrical system Do not touch components and open lines of the high-voltage on-board electrical system. Persons who wear electronic implants (e.g. cardiac pacemakers), must not  carry out any work on high-voltage on-board electrical systems. AS54.00-Z-0001-01A
9 Fit new mounting console (2) together with high-voltage battery and tack weld    
NOTES Note on high-voltage on-board electrical system   AH54.00-P-0010-01A
IMPORTANT Evaluation of high-voltage components IMPORTANT When fitting observe correct distances. AH54.00-P-6500-01SXH
10 Remove high volt battery    
11 Weld in new mounting console (2) (area E and F)    
12 Clean welds with wire brush    
13 Prime repair area using primer filler    
14 Supply standard seam seals with body sealant   AR97.10-P-4000MCC
    White sealing compound, 310 ml, DBL 6069.20 *BR00.45-Z-1003-01A 
15 Paint repair area adjacent surfaces    
NOTES Notes on paintwork repairs   AH98.00-P-9408-02MCC
16 Apply additional cavity preservation   AR97.20-P-1500FF
    Teroson protective wax, art. no: 122.73Q *BR00.45-Z-1008-05A 
17 Reinstall all detachable parts removed
