Customer information for installation location of GPS antenna
On all sedan or coupe models the GPS antenna can be mounted on the rear shelf as an alternative to the instrument panel.
Customer information on TrafficStar
The TrafficStar navigation system is available in two equipment variants from the Becker company:
- Cover, matt/black
- Cover, burred walnut veneer fine wood trim (Avantgarde)
The GPS antenna may only be installed in a horizontal position, with a max. deviation of 10° from the horizontal plane.
The GPS antenna must always have a free line of sight to the sky. Tinted glass windows can significantly impair the
GPS antenna function.
When installing the GPS antenna always make sure that the arched surface leads away from the vehicle.
Any change in the installation location within the vehicle following an initial startup will not influence GPS reception.
