	Preparatory activity
1	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position	Model 204, 212
		Model 204.3, 212 Model 204.3, 212 with code U60 (Active engine hood (pedestrian protection)) Moving the engine hood to the vertical position:  Detach left and right clamping levers at the upper left and right hinges.	AR88.40-P-1000EW
	Remove
2	Remove ignition coils
			AR15.12-P-2003CMG
	Clean
3	Blow out any dirt residue in the spark-plug recesses using compressed air	Record plug	Fig 4
		Set of protective covers	Fig 3
	Remove
4	Remove spark plugs (1) using spark plug wrench (01) from cylinder heads	Spark plug wrench	Fig 5
	Install
5	Screw new spark plugs (1) using spark plug wrench (01) into cylinder heads	Engine 156 Spark plug to cylinder head	*BA15.10-P-1001-01H

	Check
6	Check spark plug connector (2), ignition coils and ignition lines for damage, deformation and crack formation	If there are problems: ↓ Rectify problem subject to separate repair order.
	Install
7	Grease rubber lips (3) of spark plug connectors (2) using spark plug connector grease before installation	Spark plug connector grease	*BR00.45-Z-1102-06A
8	Install ignition coils
