Secure vehicle on vehicle lift - AR00.60-P-0100MCC

  Secure vehicle at front     
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1 Move driver seat and front passenger seat back and into end position    
2 Remove screw/bolt (6) and remove cup holder (7) With model 450 with code (I10) Beverage holder,
With model 451 with code (X21) LHD
beverage holder or with code (X22) RHD beverage holder
 
3 Route tensioning strap (2) via center tunnel through the vehicle IMPORTANT Cover up the floor in the vehicle interior to ensure that it is not soiled by the tensioning strap (2).
IMPORTANT Use tensioning strap (2) with following properties:
Length: 8 m
Width: 50 mm
Maximum elongation: 7 %
Standard force of the hand: 50 daN Standard application force: 560 daN
Permissible lashing force: 5000 daN
 
4 Raise vehicle with vehicle lift    
5 Route tensioning strap (2) around left and right vehicle lift support arms (3) and clamp in place NOTES Place a rag (1) between the tensioning strap (2) and rubber door seal as well as between the tensioning strap (2) and body to ensure that they are not damaged.
IMPORTANT The belt ratchet (8) must be located at the bottom of the vehicle lift support arm (3).
 
6 Dismantle in reverse order. NOTES The tensioning strap (2) may only be removed once the repair work has been completed to ensure that the vehicle does not fall down.  
  Secure vehicle at rear     
7 Move driver seat and front passenger seat forward and into end position    
8.1 Route tensioning strap (2) under the hand brake lever (5) via the center tunnel and through the vehicle Model 450, 451, 452
IMPORTANT Cover up the vehicle interior to ensure that it is not soiled by the tensioning strap (2).
Use tensioning strap (2) with following properties:
Length: 8 m
Width: 50 mm
Maximum elongation: 7 %
Standard force of the hand: 50 daN Standard application force: 560 daN Permissible lashing force: 5000 daN
 
8.2 Route tensioning strap (2) in rear between rear bench seat and center console (4) via the center tunnel through the vehicle On model 454
IMPORTANT Cover up the vehicle interior to ensure that it is not soiled by the tensioning strap (2).
IMPORTANT Use tensioning strap (2) with following properties:
Length: 8 m
Width: 50 mm
Maximum elongation: 7 %
Standard force of the hand: 50 daN
Standard application force: 560 daN
Permissible lashing force: 5000 daN
 
9 Raise vehicle with vehicle lift    
10 Route tensioning strap (2) around left and right vehicle lift support arms (3) and clamp in place NOTES Place a rag (1) between the tensioning strap (2) and rubber door seal as well as between the tensioning strap (2) and body to ensure that they are not damaged.

11 Dismantle in reverse order. NOTES The tensioning strap (2) may only be removed once the repair work has been completed to ensure that the vehicle does not fall down.
