	Removing
1	Mask off interior
2	Bond in interior
3	Mask off remaining components in outer area
4	Glue remaining components into outer area
5	Grind off outside areas (1) and transition area (2)	Residual coating thickness approx. 60 μm. The paintwork structure along the entire outside areas (1) and the transition areas (2) must be ground down to the powder base coat of paint.
6	Grind off bonding area for windshield (3) and roof bonding area (4)	Residual coating thickness approx. 20 μm. The paintwork structure in the windshield bonding area (3) and roof bonding area (4) has to be ground down to the electrophoretic dip paint coating. Grinding all the way down to the sheet steel are acceptable.
7	Clean body completely	The paint manufacturer's specifications must be complied with in full.
8	Degrease body	The paint manufacturer's specifications must be complied with in full. If necessary, perform steps 3 and 4 again.
9	Apply EP primer filler	Apply to the entire area to be painted. Use approved materials only. The paint manufacturer's specifications must be complied with in full.

10	Mask off bonding surfaces for windshield	Use materials approved by the paint manufacturers only.	SM98.00-P-0001-03A
11	Transfer template	Print out template. Use the template for the left and right rear roof area. Use suitable pin, as otherwise the paintwork structure may be damaged.	SM98.00-P-0001-02A
12	Mask off roof bonding surfaces	If necessary, remove any protruding markings. Use materials approved by the paint manufacturers only.	SM98.00-P-0001-04A
