Remove/install brake booster vacuum line - AR43.10-P-0355MEV

Persons who wear electronic implants (e.g. cardiac pacemakers), must not  carry out any work on high-voltage on-board electrical systems. AS54.00-Z-0001-01A

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Push down brake pedal several times IMPORTANT To reduce any vacuum.  
2 Remove high-voltage battery When removing the brake booster vacuum line at front (1.1). AR54.10-P-1140MEV
3 Pull brake booster vacuum line at front (1.1) out of brake booster (3) When removing the brake booster vacuum line at front (1.1).
IMPORTANT The brake booster vacuum line at front (1.1) and brake booster vacuum line at rear (1.2) can be removed separately and replaced if necessary.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Check seal on brake booster (3) for damage and replace if necessary.
 
4 Unclip front brake booster vacuum line (1.1) from brackets (2, 4) When removing the brake booster vacuum line at front (1.1).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Check bracket (2, 4) for damage, replace if necessary.
 
5 Disconnect pneumatic clutch (1.3) between the brake booster vacuum line at front (1.1) and brake booster vacuum line at rear (1.2) IMPORTANT The pneumatic clutch (1.3) is located above the frame-type integral support (6).  
6 Unclip brake booster vacuum line at front (1.1) from bracket (5) and remove When removing the brake booster vacuum line at front (1.1).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Check bracket (5) for damage, replace if necessary.
 
7 Operate both catch hooks of pneumatic clutch (1.4) simultaneously in the arrow direction and detach brake booster vacuum line at rear (1.2) at brake booster vacuum pump (M57) When removing the brake booster vacuum line at rear (1.2).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Make sure that the pneumatic coupling (1.4) is seated correctly on the brake booster vacuum pump (M57).
 
8 Detach brake booster vacuum line at rear (1.2) at brake booster vacuum pump control unit (N65/3) When removing the brake booster vacuum line at rear (1.2). AR43.05-P-1323MEV 
9 Expose brake booster vacuum line at rear (1.2) at body When removing the brake booster vacuum line at rear (1.2).
IMPORTANT The brake booster vacuum line at rear (1.2) is fasted to the body with a cable tie.
 
10 Pull out the brake booster vacuum line at rear (1.2) forwards between the frame-type integral support (6) und body and remove When removing the brake booster vacuum line at rear (1.2).  
11 Install in the reverse order    
12 Carry out brake test on the test stand
